Private Island Timber Retreat
This project has so many special features. As the prime Contractor for this one of a kind home, West Terra Projects had the privilege and the logistical challenge to handle not only the remote / off grid aspect (including use of barges), but also using construction material from a torn down barn in Pennsylvania (used for interior finishing), copper from the Great Lakes regions and select Timber from various locations. The rock in the stone work is from the property itself and was collected over 80 years on this private island. Built to very high standards this custom project never runs out of details and features to look at. At West Terra Projects we like the difficult and different! Quality homes that are truly one of a kind!
Timber Frame Home
This home was for a hard working family on a private island. Construction consists of harvested and up cycled pine beetle kill timber. It has all the luxuries of a normal house and then some. Built in a Barge only zone this was a logistically fun project that will stand for years to come
Horse Barn
